This was my absolute first attempt at a knitted dice bag. No pattern, just improvised. When I was a hundred pounds lighter, they were thigh-highs. Now, they won't stay on my thighs without rolling down. Since they're so tall, and I'm so short, I decided to unravel them to right below my knee, pick up stitches around, and then knit a cuff. On one, it's going to say "betch" and on the other, "deck." They have an enclosed porch that is the smoking room. When I'm sitting out there, ten minutes after the hot water is poured into the French press the coffee is cold. I found the &lt;a href="http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/natural-coffee-cozies"&gt;Natural Coffee Cozies&lt;/a&gt; by Bernat Design Studio pattern and decided wool would be best at keeping it warm. Right now, I'm just worried that after I felt the piece and stick it on the French press, it'll shrink and break the beaker. Mostly, by the time my eyes are closing for sleep, it's already daylight. I decided I needed something for it, so I started knitting this &lt;a href="http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/chevron-eyeshade"&gt;Chevron Eyeshade&lt;/a&gt; by Desi Knitter. The only thing I've decided I don't like about the pattern is the decreases. The first sock took me a while; three days. The second one took me about five hours knitting time (over the course of two days). They're SO comfortable. I wish I knew what brand of yarn I used. All I know is that I got it from Lilly. I used the Paton's Pedicure Socks pattern (free at my LYS), but added a toe.
